In the bustling city of Johannesburg, amidst the chaos and noise, there's a hidden gem that offers a peaceful escape from it all. Second Cup, located in Randburg near the Randridge Mall, is a serene oasis that transports you to a different world.

As you step into Second Cup, you're greeted by a charming garden-based restaurant that exudes tranquility. The lush greenery surrounds you, creating a sense of calm and relaxation. The décor, reminiscent of a grandmother's garden, adds to the nostalgic and comforting atmosphere.

The restaurant itself is cozy, with a packed interior that contrasts with the spacious garden area. Inside, the polka dot tablecloths and vintage-style décor add a whimsical touch, inviting you to explore every corner.

The garden receives ample sunlight but is also well-shaded, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal in any season. During our visit, we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. Although there may be a waiting time, it only adds to the peaceful ambiance, allowing you to unwind and enjoy a nice chat with friends or family.

One thing to note is the presence of chickens roaming around the garden, adding a quirky and charming element to the experience. We even spotted some adorable baby chicks, or nuggets as we joked, adding to the idyllic setting.

The food is exquisite we enjoyed the simplistic menu that is packed with hearty options. We finished the day off with a dessert and the freshly made options made us just crave more. Our entire experience was very affordable so we will be doing another brunch there soon.
